Spring Fling Lacrosse Acquired By North American Sports Group

Saratoga Springs, NY- Celebrating 18 years as the premier Women's College and High School Lacrosse Spring Training event, Spring Fling has been acquired by North American Sports Group and will fall under it's Sticks Up! Lacrosse property.  

Teams mostly from Northeast and Midwest schools utilize the Spring Fling event as a kick off to the year in a warm weather location, a team bonding experience as well as play in NCAA sanctioned games outside of their conferences and geographic area.  The event happens over a span of school Spring breaks each March. Palm Beach County Florida Sports Commission is entering it's 12th year as host and sponsor of the event.

"Spring Fling is an iconic event within the Women's Lacrosse landscape and has been for many years" says NASG Managing Partner, Rob Thompson.  "We felt that this property is a synergistic fit within our core business of operating over 80 plus tournaments a year and Lacrosse, especially Women's Lacrosse is a sport that is a bit under served but seeing tremendous participation growth and we plan to be part of that growth" adds Thompson.  "Our goal is to add value to the players, coaches and parents overall experience by creating an atmosphere of "The Big Game".  These kids and coaches deserve it and we plan to deliver a memorable experience".
